Many of these courses are accredited by professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and PRoject IN a Controlled Environment (PRINCE2®). SSBS has also received the Small Business Charter Award from the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills and the Association of Business Schools in recognition of its excellent enterprise education and links with businesses. It was one of the Pathfinder Business Schools in developing this important initiative and is the only one in our locality to be Chartered.
